Srinagar, February 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people staged a protest demonstration in Srinagar today, against the desecration of holy Quran in Sweden. The protesters assembled in Press Enclave after Friday prayers and raised slogans against Danish anti-Islam lunatic Rasmus Paludan who had set a copy of holy Quran on fire outside the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.
“We condemn Sweden’s state-supported Islamophobia. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) and the holy Quran are our honour and no Muslim can tolerate such fanaticism,” said a protester. Another protester said that the act of burning the holy Quran should not be considered an act protected by the right of free expression. The demonstrators after registering their protest dispersed peacefully.
