Delhi Police Detains Youth in Haryana Over Pro-Khalistan Graffiti

New Delhi, In a recent crackdown, Delhi Police conducted raids in Punjab and Haryana, detaining a youth from Haryana in connection with pro-Khalistan graffiti found on a flyover in New Delhi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Delhi Police’s special cell took action nearly two months after the emergence of the graffiti, which supported the Khalistan Referendum, a movement gaining traction in the West. The youth is suspected of painting these slogans in Delhi and other parts of India, allegedly under the guidance of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the leader of the Sikhs for Justice group.

The police have intensified their operations in Punjab as well, following the filing of an FIR on September 27 after discovering pro-Khalistan and anti-India slogans on the Kashmeer Gate flyover. This move by the Indian regime, led by Narendra Modi, appears to be a response to the growing support for the Khalistan movement, especially among the Sikh diaspora in Western countries.
