New Delhi, February 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):A Delhi court has sent noted Kashmiri human rights activist, Khurram Parvez, and others to judicial custody for a month in a case registered against them in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Special Judge, Parveen Singh, sent Khurram Parvez and others to jail till March 24 after they were produced before the court on expiry of their custodial interrogation by India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The agency had arrested Khurram Parvez for his work related to human rights in IIOJK while former NIA officer Arvind Digvijay Negi for allegedly leaking secret documents. The case was filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the draconian law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA)
