New York: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif reported that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphatically presented the cases of Kashmir and Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly. This strong representation underscored Pakistan’s commitment to these long-standing issues on the international stage.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a meeting with the Pakistani community in New York, Khawaja Asif conveyed that the Prime Minister articulated the nation’s stance clearly, warning of a robust response in case of any Indian aggression. The minister praised the overseas Pakistani community, describing them as a critical asset to Pakistan’s developmental efforts.
Asif also mentioned that Prime Minister Sharif has instructed all Pakistani embassies worldwide to prioritize and address the challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis, ensuring their concerns are handled swiftly and effectively.
