Defence Minister and Naval Chief Discuss Maritime Security and Armed Forces’ Capabilities

Islamabad, In a high-profile meeting at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, convened with the Minister for Defence, Lt Gen Anwar Ali Hyder (Retd). According to a news release by the Press International Department, Lt Gen Anwar Ali Hyder extended his congratulations to Admiral Naveed Ashraf on his recent assumption of the Chief of the Naval Staff position. The Defence Minister took the opportunity to voice the government’s dedication to bolstering and enhancing the capabilities of its Armed Forces. Emphasizing the necessity for this, he cited the current challenges and the unwavering commitment to ensuring the impeccable defense of the nation’s borders.

During their exchange, the Defence Minister conveyed his confidence that under Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s esteemed leadership, the Pakistan Navy would be better positioned to confront both present and forthcoming challenges.
