Islamabad, The Appellate Tribunals, led by High Court judges, face a deadline of tomorrow to resolve all appeals filed against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers for the upcoming general elections.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the election schedule dictates that following the disposal of these appeals, a preliminary list of candidates will be displayed on Thursday. Candidates will have until Friday to withdraw their nomination papers, and the revised list of candidates will be published on the same day.
The process will advance with the allocation of electoral symbols to candidates on Saturday. The polling for the general elections is scheduled to take place on the 8th of next month, marking a crucial phase in the country’s electoral process.
