Karachi, August 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):In response to continuous rains witnessed by Karachi and other parts of Sindh province, de watering activities continued by PDMA teams at different most critical locations to provide quick relief to the people. Advisor to Chief Minister on Relief and Rehabilitation Haji Rasool Bux Chandio directed PDMA team to be vigilant regarding any emergency created in the aftermath of rains and perform relief activities on a priority bases where needed.
It is further informed that till to date about 20 thousand shelters 50 thousand mosquito nets and over 9000 food packs besides other essential relief items have been given to the District administrations to cater for most critical needs of the affected families.
