Karachi: The spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin, visited the Governor’s House on the invitation of Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri, where he announced a donation of 100 laptops to IT students.
According to Sindh Governor House, Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin’s visit focused on fostering religious harmony and understanding, particularly during the Muharram Al Haram. In a gesture of support for local education and technology, he pledged to donate 100 laptops as part of a Governor’s initiative to enhance IT education in the region.
During the visit, discussions on religious harmony and the Dawoodi Bohra community’s contributions to the national economy were held. Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin praised the Governor’s welfare initiatives, emphasizing the spiritual importance of serving the community. The meeting also saw cultural exchanges, including the presentation of a shawl and tasbih to the spiritual leader by Governor Tesuri.
The visit was marked by ceremonial gestures, including a flower shower by scouts upon Syedna’s arrival and special prayers offered by the spiritual leader for the prosperity of Sindh and Pakistan. Governor Tesuri expressed gratitude for the annual visits by Syedna during Muharram, highlighting their importance in promoting unity and tolerance.
