Srinagar: Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil, representing Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has conveyed sorrow over a catastrophic fire in the Mallarata area of Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The organization is actively supporting the victims.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the fire led to the total destruction of five residential homes. The incident left several families without shelter, with their possessions turned to ashes.
In response, Darul Khair extended sympathy to those affected, highlighting the pressing need for assistance and rehabilitation. Their commitment to community welfare was demonstrated by a visit from a delegation led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, who delivered essential relief items like rice, flour, blankets, and kitchen kits to the victims.
The delegation conveyed assurances of support from Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, reinforcing Darul Khair’s ongoing pledge to assist and rehabilitate those in need, as they stand by the community during these challenging times.
