Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of strengthening regional connectivity and economic partnerships among South Asian nations during a meeting at the South Asia Federation of Accountants Conference. Dar underscored Pakistan’s dedication to promoting regional peace and integration.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting, held on the sidelines of the conference in Lahore, served as a platform for Dar to reiterate Pakistan’s commitment to economic cooperation and engagement for a more prosperous South Asia. He highlighted Pakistan’s constructive role in fostering stability and sustainable development in the region.
Dar pointed out that increased collaboration among regional institutions could lead to shared growth and innovation. He advocated for stronger people-to-people connectivity across South Asia, suggesting that these efforts could unlock the region’s full potential.
