Apia: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has urged for greater investment in digital infrastructure and transformative technologies across Commonwealth countries to accelerate economic modernization and enhance productivity. Speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Samoa, Dar emphasized the significance of the forum as a collaborative platform impacting millions within the Commonwealth through enhanced trade, investment, and workforce development.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dar highlighted the need for comprehensive investment in education, skill development, and entrepreneurship as essential drivers of technological innovation and economic transformation. He underscored the importance of equipping the Commonwealth’s workforce to support a shared vision for sustainable economic growth and progress.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to Commonwealth prosperity, Dar pointed to Pakistan’s national efforts in workforce empowerment, noting the country’s strategies to prepare its citizens for an evolving global economy.
