Islamabad: PML-N leader Danyal Chaudhary has called for a united front among political parties and institutions to tackle terrorism and strengthen Pakistan’s economy. During a press conference today, he emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to uplift the nation economically and socially.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhary criticized the PTI leadership for not focusing on constructive legislation that could benefit the impoverished sectors of society. Instead, he accused them of engaging in disruptive behavior and issuing threatening statements, which he claimed were attempts to blackmail the government. He asserted that such tactics aimed at weakening the country would not succeed under his government.
The PML-N leader also addressed security concerns, stating that any group conspiring against the state should face severe consequences, akin to those imposed on banned organizations. He highlighted recent crimes attributed to PTI, including attacks on memorials dedicated to national martyrs, and referenced a confessional statement from Imran Niazi regarding these incidents.
Chaudhary also paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces, noting that over 150 soldiers and officers had been martyred in terrorist attacks this year. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the country would achieve its development and prosperity goals.
