These operations reflect a focused effort to reinforce operational efficiency and maintain momentum against smuggling activities.

A notable operation involved the interception of a Mazda truck near Ghala Mandi, Multan. The vehicle was found carrying foreign-origin goods, including cigarettes and betel nuts, hidden beneath crushed animal bones.

This led to a subsequent raid on a warehouse in the industrial area, uncovering more contraband items with an estimated value of Rs. 14.890 million.

In another instance, customs officials intercepted a Hino truck at JCP Sakhi Sarwar. A thorough inspection discovered 104 foreign-origin inverters concealed under fruit baskets of fresh apples, valued at Rs. 13.200 million.

Additionally, routine checks at JCP Trimman resulted in the recovery of a smuggled Kawasaki Ninja heavy bike from the luggage compartment of a passenger bus traveling from D.I. Khan to Karachi. The bike was valued at Rs. 2.200 million.

These enforcement activities underscore the commitment of Pakistan Customs, particularly the Multan Collectorate, to combat smuggling, prevent tax evasion, and safeguard national revenue. The operations demonstrate a dedication to fair trade practices and effective border management.
