Srinagar, A tragic incident occurred in the Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), where a civilian was reportedly hit and killed by a vehicle belonging to the Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place in the town of Ganderbal. The victim, identified as Ghulam Hassan Magray, was riding a scooty when he was critically injured in a collision with the CRPF vehicle. Despite being rushed to the District Hospital Ganderbal, Magray was declared dead upon arrival.
This incident adds to the growing concerns over the tactics employed by Indian troops in the region. Reports suggest that, in addition to using firearms, there have been instances where vehicles have been used against civilians. The use of such methods is seen as part of the broader efforts to quell the ongoing freedom movement in IIOJK.
This latest episode of violence has sparked outrage and grief in the region, with calls for an investigation and accountability for the incident. The death of Ghulam Hassan Magray underscores the tense and dangerous environment in IIOJK, where the presence of Indian security forces continues to be a point of contention and fear among the local population.
