Karachi, A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) sub-inspector has been killed, and a constable injured in an attack in the troubled state of Chhattisgarh, India. This incident is part of a series of violent occurrences and distressing events reported in various disturbed areas across the country.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased CRPF sub-inspector, Sudhakar Reddy of the 165th Battalion, was killed in an ambush by Naxal guerillas during an operation near the Bedre camp towards Ursangal village in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Constable Ramu, who was injured in the same attack, is receiving medical attention and has been airlifted for further treatment. Following the incident, four suspects have been detained, and intensive search operations are being conducted by the CRPF, Cobra, and District Force, as stated in an Indian police release.

In a separate but equally troubling event, a 40-year-old soldier of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) reportedly committed suicide using his service weapon, an AK-47, in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. The reasons behind the soldier’s drastic action remain unclear.

Additionally, in the disturbed Assam region, an explosion was heard near the Indian Army gate of the Jorhat military station. The cause and potential impact of this blast are yet to be ascertained.
