CRPF Officer Dies of Suspected Cardiac Arrest in Kupwara, Kashmir

Srinagar, A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer died under suspected circumstances of cardiac arrest during his duty hours in the Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The incident has brought attention to the stressful conditions under which security personnel operate in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the officer, Sub Inspector Mohan Lal of the 162 Battalion, experienced severe chest pain before losing consciousness in the Wavura area of the district. Efforts to provide medical assistance were made as Lal was quickly transported to a hospital in the nearby Sogam area. However, upon arrival, medical professionals declared him brought dead.

In a separate but possibly related incident, the body of an individual, believed to be a non-local, was discovered on a road in the Chadoora area of Budgam district. The identity and circumstances of the death are yet to be disclosed, adding a layer of concern regarding safety and security in the region.

These incidents underscore the ongoing challenges and the high-stress environment faced by security forces and civilians alike in the conflicted area of Jammu and Kashmir.
