Crackdown on Illegal Petroleum Sales Launched in Khuzdar

Khuzdar: The district administration of Khuzdar has launched a crackdown on the illegal sale of petroleum products in the local bazar. Under the directive of Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dashti, the levies force targeted gallon drums and plastic bottles used for selling petroleum products in various areas including markets and beach roads. The administration seized these items as part of their enforcement efforts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, notices had previously been issued to vendors to cease the illegal sale of petroleum in unauthorized containers placed in front of shops. The lack of compliance led to today’s actions. The district administration emphasized that selling petroleum products openly poses a significant risk of fire and potential harm to life and property, which prompted the enforcement measures.
