CPEC Progresses in Road Infrastructure and Power Projects: Solangi

Islamabad, 16 Oct 2023: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, announced that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has marked significant achievements in the successful development of road infrastructure, power projects, and the establishment of Special Economic Zones valued over 62 billion dollars.

At a collaborative event by the Bahria University and the China Media Group in Islamabad, the minister emphasized the evolving nature of CPEC, shifting from a solely governmental venture to include business and cultural interactions. Murtaza Solangi praised the union of Bahria University and the China Media Group, noting the potential of interactive media in engaging the youth and raising awareness about the deep-rooted Pak-China alliance as mirrored through CPEC. The ongoing efforts of the caretaker government in facilitating CPEC projects were highlighted, while the Minister also remarked on the Prime Minister’s current visit to China for the 3rd Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.
