Karachi, November 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):No casualty was reported today and 151 new cases emerged when 10,529 tests were conducted. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Friday. He added that no casualty was reported today, patients death toll to 7,611 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate. Mr. Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 10,529 samples were tested which detected 151 cases that constituted 1.4 percent current detection rate.
He added that so far 6,621,772 tests have been conducted against which 472,866 cases were diagnosed, of them 95.7 percent or 452,750 patients have recovered, including 129 overnight. The CM said that currently 12,505 patients were under treatment; of them 12,281 were in home isolation, 202 at different hospitals and 22 patients in Isolation Centres. He added that the condition of 199 patients was stated to be critical, including 13 shifted to ventilators.
According to the statement, out of 151 new cases, 17 have been detected from Karachi. Explaining the statistics of districts wise East 10, South 3, Korangi 2, Central and West one each. Other districts in Hyderabad have 23, Shaheed Benazirabad 18, Naushero Feroze 16, Sanghar and Sujawal 12 each, Thatta 11, Tharparkar eight, Matiari and Tando Muhammad Khan seven each, Umerkot five, Larkana and Tando Allahyar four each, Badin, Mirpurkhas three each and Ghotki one. CM Syed Murad Ali Shah urged people to abide by the SOPs issued by the government.
