Islamabad: A new report has highlighted an ongoing cycle of violence in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, where Indian forces are reported to have killed three individuals in recent operations, continuing what has been described as a killing spree by the Modi regime.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the recent casualties occurred in separate military operations in the Srinagar and Islamabad districts. The report detailed that in October alone, nine Kashmiri youths were killed during various cordon and search operations and alleged fake encounters orchestrated by Indian forces.
The document goes on to cite figures that suggest a grim tally of 96,373 deaths inflicted by Indian troops since January 1989, portraying a protracted period of bloodshed spanning over seven decades. It characterized the situation as a consequence of India’s illegitimate occupation, which aims to subjugate the Kashmiri populace through fear but noted a steadfast resolve among Kashmiris to resist subjugation in their quest for freedom.
The report calls on the international community to intervene to halt the violence and to find a resolution for Kashmir that aligns with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of its people, to pave the way for lasting peace in the region.
