Continued Repatriation of Illegal Foreign Nationals Including Afghans

Islamabad, The repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, predominantly Afghans, to their homeland is ongoing. Thousands of Afghan nationals are returning to Afghanistan daily via the Torkham and Chaman borders.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reports that transit camps with full facilities have been set up in various districts to provide temporary accommodation for these returnees. Yesterday, a total of 2,712 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated. These measures are part of Pakistan’s efforts to ensure a dignified return of Afghans to their country.
