Continued Repatriation of Illegal Afghan Nationals from Pakistan

Islamabad, The process of repatriating illegal foreign nationals, particularly Afghans, back to their homeland is progressing steadily, with measures in place to ensure their safe and dignified return.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in addition to other initiatives, the Pakistani government has set up transit camps in various districts to provide temporary accommodation for these individuals. These camps are fully equipped with necessary facilities to support the Afghans during their transition.

Yesterday, a total of 1,562 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated to Afghanistan. This recent movement is part of an ongoing effort that has seen a total of 444,938 illegal Afghans being sent back to their country so far.
