Continued Provision of Sehat Card Services in Federally Funded Areas Assured by Caretaker Health Minister

Karachi, Dr. Nadeem Jan, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Health, has confirmed that services under the Sehat Card program will persist without interruption in areas receiving federal funding. This announcement comes as a reassurance for beneficiaries in various regions, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad Capital Territory, and district Tharparkar.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a highlevel meeting in Islamabad, Dr. Nadeem Jan emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of health services in these regions. He addressed funding concerns, assuring that all issues related to financing would be resolved promptly.

Dr. Nadeem Jan also expressed gratitude to Punjab Health Minister Javed Akram and the leadership of State Life for their unwavering support of the Federal Program. The Sehat Card initiative is a critical component of the government’s efforts to provide accessible healthcare services to its citizens, particularly in federally funded areas.
