Dubai: H.E. Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General, attended the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD)’s Future Fest Education and Career Expo as the Chief Guest. The event brought together students, educators, and notable figures including Dr. Faisal Ikram, President of PAD, and Mr. Dawood Sharif, Head of PAD’s Education Committee.
According to Press Information Department, the Consul General commended PAD’s initiatives aimed at empowering Pakistani youth through career support. In his address, he highlighted the significance of making informed career choices, stating that such decisions are crucial in shaping future leaders. He emphasized the role of career counseling in helping students find paths that align with their strengths and aspirations.
Mr. Hussain also called on the Pakistani community in the Emirates to collaborate with PAD in creating an effective strategy for enrolling the children of Pakistani expatriates who are out of school. He encouraged students to perceive careers as journeys of purpose rather than merely jobs, advocating for a focus on societal impact over traditional metrics of success.
In his speech, he stressed the importance of education in developing critical thinking and creativity, particularly in an era of rapid technological advancement. He advised the youth to pursue careers that contribute to their well-being and personal growth. Acknowledging the efforts by PAD in organizing the Expo, Mr. Hussain urged students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the event. The Expo also featured Expert Talks with the participation of Mr. Arsalan Yunus, Mr. Abdul Karim Hanif, Ms. Saima Hasan, and Mr. Omar Hayat.
