Congress Leader Raman Bhalla Criticizes BJP’s Policies in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: In a fervent critique of the current administration, Congress leader Raman Bhalla has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of enforcing policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) that he claims have exacerbated the suffering of the region’s residents.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a public meeting in Jammu, Bhalla voiced deep concerns over the high unemployment rates among educated youth, pointing out the ineffectiveness of the BJP’s economic strategies. He noted the sacrifices many families had made to educate their children, which have not translated into job opportunities or financial security under the BJP-led regime.

Bhalla also criticized the administration for introducing steep price increases and heavy taxation, which he said have placed an undue burden on the economically vulnerable segments of society, including the poor, unemployed graduates, and daily wage workers. These measures, he argued, have only deepened the economic divide and added to the general hardship faced by the populace.
