Jammu: Raman Bhalla, a leader of the Indian National Congress in Jammu and Kashmir, has publicly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s policies and administrative actions, describing them as a governance nightmare for the people of the region.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during an interactive session with party workers in the Swankha area of Ramgarh constituency, Bhalla outlined major issues under the BJP’s rule, including high unemployment and slow recruitment processes that he believes have led to widespread despair among the youth.
Bhalla also accused the current government of engaging in nepotism and making backdoor appointments, with a particular emphasis on discrimination against candidates from Jammu in Public Service Commission selections. He asserted that the BJP’s policies over the last decade have significantly deteriorated public utility services and halted overall developmental progress, accusing the party of placing its own interests above public welfare and failing to fulfill election promises.
