New Delhi, 15 Oct 2023: The Congress party voiced strong criticism against the K Chandrasekhar Rao-led government in Telangana on Saturday, following the tragic suicide of a 23-year-old woman who was preparing for competitive exams. Party leader Rahul Gandhi asserted that this incident marked not just a suicide but the murder of youthful dreams and aspirations.

Kashmir Media Service reported that Rahul Gandhi pointed to the BJP and “BJP Rishtedar Samithi – BRS” for, in his view, jointly causing the state’s deterioration over the past decade due to their “incompetence.”

The young woman took her own life at a hostel in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad, which led to immediate and passionate protests from other government job aspirants condemning the BRS-led government. Following the revelation of her demise, a significant number of students convened in the vicinity, launching protests and chanting slogans against the state administration.
