Congress Criticizes BJP for “Anti-People” Policies in IIOJK

Srinagar: The Congress party in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has sharply criticized the BJP-led government’s policies, claiming they harm the region’s residents.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Vikar Rasool Wani, President of the IIOJK Congress chapter, called on party workers to challenge the BJP’s policies, which he described as harmful to locals, youth, students, and farmers. He accused the BJP of engaging in divisive politics and neglecting local welfare.

Raman Bhalla, Working President of the IIOJK Congress, also expressed concerns over the rising unemployment in the region, condemning the BJP’s practices of announcing then retracting job advertisements, which he said leads to youth disillusionment.

The leadership urged Congress officials to inform the public about these issues and the BJP’s communal tactics, emphasizing the need to address local concerns like unemployment, property tax, toll plazas, and smart meters.
