Congress Calls for Supreme Court-Monitored Probe into NEET Irregularities, Accuses BJP of Mismanagement

New Delhi, The Congress party has called for a Supreme Court-supervised investigation into alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), used for medical course admissions, accusing the BJP-led government of compromising the future of young aspirants.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the opposition party highlighted recurrent issues such as paper leaks, test-rigging, and other forms of corruption plaguing not only NEET but other exams as well. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, in a statement on the social media platform X, criticized the current administration for its direct involvement in these discrepancies. “For the candidates appearing in recruitment exams, then facing several irregularities, getting caught in the labyrinth of paper leaks, is playing with their futures,” Kharge stated, pushing for a high-level investigation to ensure justice for affected students.

The demand underscores deepening concerns over exam integrity and governmental accountability in India’s competitive educational landscape.
