New Delhi: The Congress party has voiced concerns over alleged interference by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the ongoing Haryana assembly elections, pointing to unusual delays and discrepancies in the updating of election trends on the official Election Commission of India (ECI) website.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh highlighted issues with the ECI’s trend updates in Haryana, drawing parallels to similar occurrences in the Lok Sabha elections. He questioned whether the BJP was attempting to influence the administrative processes by circulating outdated or misleading information. This assertion comes amid updates showing the BJP leading in 49 seats, with Congress trailing at 35, in the race to secure a majority in the 90-seat assembly.
