Srinagar, April 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Complete shutdown will be observed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, tomorrow, on the visit of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, as a mark of protest against India’s illegal hold on the territory.

On the APHC appeal, anti-India demonstrations will be held in Azad Kashmir and in world major capitals by the Kashmiri diaspora against the Indian crimes in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities have deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength across the occupied territory, particularly in Jammu region, in the name of so-called security measures ahead of Narendra Modi’s visit.
The forces’ personnel are conducting random checking of vehicles and frisking of passengers on the check-points which have mushroomed on the roads of all major cities and towns as well as the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The police and troops are using CCTV cameras to keep a watch on the movement of people. Indian police have seized scores of bikes from different areas of Srinagar.
Meanwhile, a report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said Modi-led fascist Indian regime has turned IIOJK into a killing filed where Indian troops are killing innocent youth on a daily basis. It said, seven youth have been martyred by the troops during last three days alone. It pointed Modi’s visit is aimed at misleading the world into believing that situation is normal in the occupied territory.
On the other hand, APHC-AJK leader, Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to IIOJK was tantamount to rubbing salt on the wounds of the Kashmiri people. He said Narendra Modi through his visit wants to divert the attention of the world community from the grim human rights situation but will not succeed in his nefarious designs.
APHC-AJK leaders, Qazi Imran and Khalid Shabbir, in a joint statement issued in Islamabad deplored that whenever Narendra Modi, the butcher of Kashmiris, visit IIOJK, Indian troops intensify killing spree in the territory. They appealed to the United Nations to take cognizance of the Indian state terrorism in IIOJK and play role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its resolutions.
