Karachi: Minister for Communications and Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has instructed the National Highway Authority (NHA) to expedite work on 43 ongoing highway projects across Sindh. During a meeting with NHA officials in Karachi, the minister emphasized the importance of bolstering the financial stability of government institutions, setting it as a top priority for the administration.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Khan urged NHA to enhance its revenue generation efforts and meet a target of 25 billion rupees in collections from Sindh for the current fiscal year. He further noted that the government is implementing a comprehensive policy to drive construction and infrastructure development across the nation’s roadways, aiming to improve connectivity and economic accessibility.
