Jammu, May 17, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, communal Indian police have arrested two Muslim cattle traders in Kishtwar district of Jammu region. The police during checking intercepted the vehicles carrying cattle in Thalaran and Khanpora areas of the district and arrested the Muslim traders when they were transporting the bovine from Jammu region to the Kashmir Valley for the trade purpose. The police dubbed them as smugglers and took into possession seven animals.
The arrest of Muslims associated with the cattle trade by Indian police has become a routine matter in IIOJK and India since the Narendra Modi-led Hindutva government came into power in 2014. They are also attacked by cow vigilantes. Many of them have lost their lives in the attacks by these Hindutva goons.
