Kharan: In an unexpected visit to the Technical Training Center (TTC) Kharan, Commissioner Rukhshan Division Shah Irfan Ahmed Gharshin, accompanied by Director TTC Taj Muhammad Baloch and Relation Officer Zia Shafi Baloch, reviewed the facility’s operations and various training programs. The officials toured several departments, assessing the educational environment and the admission process for numerous trades, with regular classes scheduled to commence from September 18.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the visit highlighted the active enrollment in diverse vocational fields such as IT, mobile repairing, dress mechanics, electrician skills, motor winding, solar technology, agriculture, livestock beautification, among others. The TTC administration mentioned that classes are currently being conducted under the Hazza program and JUT program, initiatives designed to enhance skill sets of the local youth.
During his tour, Commissioner Gharshin interacted with students, inquiring about their training experiences and any challenges faced. He examined the products, like bags and clothes, crafted by students on specific orders, and expressed commendation for their skills and the center’s contribution to youth development in Kharan and the broader Rukhshan Division.
The commissioner emphasized the importance of technical education alongside academic learning, aligning with the Balochistan government’s priority to foster job creation through vocational training. He projected that a significant number of young individuals will secure employment annually after graduating from TTC Kharan, equipped with high-quality technical skills.
The visit concluded with the TTC Director and staff expressing gratitude towards Commissioner Gharshin for his dedicated interest in addressing the institute’s challenges and supporting its mission to empower the youth of Kharan.
