Loralai: Commissioner Saadat Hasan of the Loralai Division visited key agricultural research sites, including the Olive Farm Adaptive Research and Katvi Farm, to assess developments and partake in a plantation campaign, reinforcing the government’s focus on advancing agriculture in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during his visit, Commissioner Hasan was briefed about the 50-acre farm’s diverse fruit tree cultivations, particularly the olive varieties spread over 10 acres where 44,000 olive cuttings have been planted. He highlighted the government’s initiatives such as converting agricultural tube wells to solar systems to reduce costs for landowners and support sustainable agriculture. Furthermore, Hasan urged the agriculture department to aid farmers with innovative tree and seed types, expert advice, and access to modern machinery, emphasizing that the majority of the local population depends on agriculture and livestock. He also stressed the importance of honest and effective departmental operations to benefit local farmers.
