Commissioner Khalji Urges Timely Completion of Development Projects in Gwadar

Gwadar, Commissioner Makran Dawood Khan Khalji has emphasized the importance of completing ongoing development projects in Gwadar on schedule, stating that no delays will be tolerated. His remarks came during a review and inspection of various initiatives under the Town Rehabilitation Plan, signaling a strong commitment to rapid development in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Khalji’s inspection tour included several key sites such as Mullah Fazil Chowk, the extension from Airport Road Makki Masjid to Mullah Fazil Chowk, and the link roads from Gulag to Demi Zar and Demi Zar Road itself. Accompanied by Acting Director General of the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Haji Syed Muhammad, Superintending Engineer Nadir Baloch, and Assistant Commissioner Gwadar Jawad Zehri, the Commissioner reviewed progress and directed that efforts be intensified.

During the briefing, the GDA Chief Engineer and Acting DG updated Commissioner Khalji on the progress of these projects, outlining the steps being taken to ensure they meet their deadlines. Commissioner Khalji responded by urging the acceleration of development work, highlighting the public’s need for timely completion to avoid further inconvenience.

Furthermore, Commissioner Khalji insisted on the importance of maintaining quality, sustainability, and public involvement in these projects. He tasked the administration with providing support and guidance to institutions to overcome any obstacles that might impede progress. He stressed that any hindrance to the completion of these projects is unacceptable, noting that these initiatives had been delayed too long and must be completed swiftly to fulfill public expectations and benefit the local community.
