Loralai: A Deputy Commissioners Conference chaired by Commissioner Loralai Division Saadat Hasan took place in his office, addressing multiple administrative and development issues across the region. The conference saw participation from Deputy Commissioners of Loralai, Daki, Musa Khel, and Barkhan, focusing on a range of topics including law enforcement, highway patrol, governmental land occupation, and monitoring of health and educational institutions.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included detailed discussions on several critical areas such as the execution of peace and order strategies, operations of Levies Durbar, patrolling of highways, and the functioning of open courts. Each Deputy Commissioner reported on actions taken in their respective districts, also covering the monitoring of development projects, the effectiveness of price control committees, the transition of tube wells to solar power, and evaluations of past polio campaigns.
Commissioner Saadat Hasan emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing public issues, highlighting the significance of peace and order for regional development. He urged the Deputy Commissioners to expedite development projects and ensure their security. Key road projects like Shabuzai to Taunsa, Kangri to Musa Khel, Daki to Chamaling, and Barkhan to Rukni were discussed with instructions to maintain progress regardless of challenges, and to blacklist non-compliant contractors.
Furthermore, Hasan outlined the goals for enhancing future polio campaigns, including increasing female staff and ensuring the convenience of lady health workers’ postings. He stressed the importance of regular inspections by Deputy Commissioners and their teams to oversee ongoing development projects.
The conference also touched upon infrastructure developments in various districts, such as the allocation of office spaces within the district complex in Musa Khel and land allotments for essential services in Barkhan and Dikki. Each Deputy Commissioner provided updates on significant local issues, including the construction pace on key roads and law enforcement activities.
The overarching directive was clear: bolster efforts in education and health sectors by ensuring the presence of district heads and addressing absenteeism stringently.
