Islamabad, In a meeting aimed at bolstering trade and economic relations, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, met with Caretaker Minister for Commerce and Interior Dr. Gohar Ejaz in Islamabad on Thursday.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion between Dr. Ejaz and Ambassador Kistafin focused on the vital importance of trade and logistics in strengthening the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The minister underscored the critical interconnection between trade and transportation, affirming that there is no trade without transport.
Ambassador Kistafin announced significant developments, including the resumption of direct flights from Kazakhstan to Pakistan after Ramadan. Additionally, he revealed plans to introduce E-visas for Pakistani businesspersons, a move designed to simplify the visa application process and enhance business interactions between the two countries.
The meeting signifies a step forward in deepening the economic and trade linkages between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, facilitating easier movement and fostering increased cooperation in various sectors.
