Commander Launches First Dental College in Balochistan

Quetta: Lieutenant General Rahet Naseem Ahmad Khan, Commander Quetta, inaugurated the Quetta College of Dentistry at a ceremony, marking a significant step in promoting healthcare and education in the province of Balochistan.

The Quetta College of Dentistry stands as the first institution of its kind in the region, a result of a collaborative effort between the Balochistan government and the Pakistan Army.

The construction and operationalization of the college were completed in under a year, a remarkable achievement that underscores the dedication and efficiency of the teams involved.

Equipped with modern facilities, the college aims to provide comprehensive education and training in dentistry, setting a new standard for healthcare education in the province.

The college has selected its inaugural class of 50 students, with regular classes set to commence on April 14, 2025. These students symbolize the future of dental healthcare in Balochistan, poised to benefit from a modern curriculum and expert faculty.

The establishment of the Quetta College of Dentistry is expected to enhance the quality of dental healthcare services and education, contributing significantly to the development of the region.
