Rawalpindi, General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), recently visited the Corps Level Collective Training exercise of Strike Corps. The exercise was aimed at validating offensive operational concepts and featured an impressive display of maneuvers led by an Armoured formation equipped with state-of-the-art VT-4 tanks.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Army Chief commended the troops participating in the exercise for their operational efficiency, professionalism, and verve. He emphasized the importance of combat readiness and mental agility to respond to the multi-spectral threat paradigm, underlining the need for synergy among various arms in a rapidly changing threat environment. COAS appreciated the proficiency gained in night operations and reiterated the significance of realistic, mission-oriented training in peacetime to ensure battlefield excellence. He was received by the Commander Mangla Corps upon arrival.
