COAS Stresses Unity and Resilience Among Veterans on Independence Day


Islamabad: In a resolute call for solidarity, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir underscored the critical need for unity and resilience among Pakistan’s veterans during a reception in Islamabad commemorating Independence Day. The event, which honored the service and sacrifices of Pakistan Army veterans, highlighted the enduring link between the nation’s past and present defenders.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir used the platform to advocate for continued engagement from the veterans in steering the country towards progress and stability. He acknowledged the veterans’ pivotal role in Pakistan’s historical and ongoing challenges, commending their unwavering dedication.



The Army Chief also addressed the pervasive challenges of misinformation and propaganda aimed at disrupting the unity of Pakistani society. He reinforced the necessity of maintaining a strong bond between the citizens and the armed forces to thwart any attempts by adversarial forces to undermine national cohesion.
