COAS General Munir Highlights Education’s Role in Security During Harvard Student Meeting

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir today emphasized the transformative power of education in addressing security challenges during a meeting with a delegation of 44 Harvard Business School students from nine different countries.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the session provided an opportunity for an in-depth discussion on Pakistan’s strategic efforts in fostering regional peace, combating terrorism, and supporting democratic values. General Munir discussed the importance of education, critical thinking, and innovation, noting these elements as essential in tackling modern security issues.

The Army Chief also advised the students on the dangers of misinformation and the critical role of discerning analysis in the digital age. He encouraged them to base their perceptions on personal experiences rather than mediated narratives.

The students thanked General Munir for the insightful interaction, which follows his recent engagements with university students at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, highlighting his ongoing commitment to educational initiatives and youth development in Pakistan.
