Islamabad, In a significant meeting today, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir met with Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi to discuss regional peace, stability, and border security.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination to foster regional stability and economic prosperity. General Munir labeled the Pakistan-Iran border as “the border of peace and friendship,” emphasizing the need for improved border management to thwart terrorist activities that could strain the two nations’ brotherly ties. President Raisi underscored the potential for strengthened cooperation between the armed forces of both countries to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region and for both nations.
