Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed gratitude for the issuance of the 5G spectrum licence and extended congratulations to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his team. According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister stated that Pakistan is advancing in the global race of digital technology. She emphasized that the launch of 5G would benefit students and promote the IT sector and businesses. Furthermore, she mentioned the introduction of the Punjab Artificial Intelligence roadmap and the province’s efforts towards establishing the world’s first AI delivery unit. The rollout of 5G is expected to accelerate the implementation of the AI roadmap.
