Lahore, May 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has taken stern notice of firing on a police party while performing its duty in the Model Town area of Lahore and paid homage to the sacrifice of Constable Kamal Ahmad who embraced martyrdom. He has extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved heirs and sought a report from the IG police. He has directed that the accused should be brought to book as soon as possible.
The CM said that he was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of the police constable and in the hour of grief, stood with the martyr’s family. Indiscriminate legal action would be taken against those who took the law into their own hands, the CM concluded.
