CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Unveils Housing Initiative for Low-Income Families

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has announced a new initiative to provide free 3 marla plots to deserving families as part of a broader effort to support low-income citizens. During a ceremony, she inaugurated the Zahra Homes/Maskan Ravi Scheme in Kala Shah Kaku, distributing allotment letters and house keys to 100 families.

According to a statement by Chief Minister of Punjab, the scheme marks the construction of 100 houses in Mouza Nehra Pur at Kala Khatai Road, Lahore. Each home, covering an area of 400 square feet, consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a courtyard.

Briefings revealed that the houses are designed to be earthquake-proof and energy-efficient, incorporating environmentally sustainable features with EPS Smart Panel Technology. The Maskan Ravi community will benefit from a 5 kw solar power system, as well as an RO plant for clean water, a school, a playground, a mosque, and a dispensary.

The Maskan-e-Ravi Housing Scheme is a collaborative effort between RUDA and EPS Solutions Pakistan. The event also included a documentary presentation on the services and projects of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, with Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yasin addressing the attendees.
