Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the murder of journalist Ashfaq Ahmed in Muzaffargarh. She emphasized that those involved in the murder should be brought to justice and sought a report from IG Punjab Police on the matter.
According to Directorate General Public Relations – Government of Punjab, Madam Chief Minister offered condolences and expressed her heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family. She prayed for the forgiveness and higher ranks of the deceased soul in the Heavens.
