CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Extends Greetings for the New Islamic Year

Lahore: In a heartfelt message, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the Pakistani nation and the Muslim Ummah on the commencement of the new Islamic year, invoking blessings and peace.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister emphasized the significant learnings from the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and the principles of compassion, justice, unity, and tolerance. She reflected on the profound sacrifices made during the Battle of Karbala, highlighting it as a symbol of courage and steadfastness.

In her message, Chief Minister Sharif also expressed hope for peace and prosperity in the coming year and called for the liberation of oppressed communities, specifically mentioning Palestine and Kashmir. She urged the Muslim community to embody the spirit of brotherhood and support during the new year.
