Cloudburst in Kulgam, IIOJK, Claims One Life, Injures Three

Srinagar: A sudden cloudburst in the Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) early Thursday morning has resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to three others, disrupting the tranquility of the region much like a sudden storm disrupts the stillness of the night.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the natural disaster struck specifically in the Damhal Hanjipora area, unleashing its fury with little warning. The intensity of a cloudburst, akin to pouring a large bucket of water onto a small patch of land in mere moments, led to immediate and severe consequences for the local populace.

Following the cloudburst, emergency operations swung into action, mirroring the organized chaos of a beehive. Local officials coordinated search and rescue efforts to navigate the aftermath, sift through the debris, and assist the affected residents, reflecting a well-orchestrated response to an abrupt crisis.
