Climate Advocates Converge in Dubai for Action-Oriented Event


Dubai: An event organized at Pakistan Association Dubai emphasized the urgent need for climate action, bringing together advocates, change-makers, and the community to discuss sustainable solutions. The gathering, a collaboration between Extreme Hangout Dubai, Earth Warriors, and the Pakistan Youth Forum, underscored the importance of collective efforts to address climate challenges.



According to a statement by Press Information Department, the event began with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony led by H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General, and Dr. Faisal Ikram, President of PAD. During the ceremony, H.E. Hussain Muhammad highlighted the existential threat posed by climate change, particularly to vulnerable countries like Pakistan.



Key activities included entrepreneurial stalls displaying innovative eco-friendly solutions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and performances that emphasized the beauty of nature and the necessity of preserving it. The event also stressed the vital role of youth in driving climate action.



The Consul General urged the Pakistani community in the UAE to act as global ambassadors for Pakistan’s climate challenges through storytelling and community engagement. The event concluded with a call for global solidarity to ensure a sustainable future for all.
